 Mr. K.P. Giotis - the DHI Founder
- has been exclusively involved in the field of hair restoration since
1970.
He founded the DHI Medical Group in 1970 in Palo Alto,
California, USA and in the years since, the DHI Medical Group has grown to
become one of the largest organizations internationally for medical hair
restoration. Today, the DHI Global Hair Network includes clinics and
associate doctors in Europe, the United States, Asia, Mexico, South
Africa, China, Japan & India.
Mr. Giotis is a member of the
ISHRS, the American Society of Cosmetic Surgery, the founder of The
International Hair Society (IHS) and has spoken at numerous medical

MB.BAO.DCH.DOG.LRCSI (H.Dip in Dermatology) BSc (Hons)QUB is on the
Specialist Register in Ireland and holds higher qualifications in
laser technology and skin resurfacing. He is European Group leader of
Network Lipolysis and member of many international organisations.
Dr. Treacy is an international speaker and lectures overseas
on many topics relating to cosmetic medicine.
He was amongst the first
doctors worldwide to publish research on the permanent facial
endoprosthesis BioAlcamid for HIV/HAART patients and his technique is
currently undergoing FDA Approval. He also recently published pioneering
research on the chemical removal of eye fat pads.
Dr. Treacy
has been invited to speak about cosmetic medicine on Irish and UK
television and radio on many occasions. He is an accomplished columnist
and won "Best Professional Medical Journalist in Ireland" in 2005. His
award winning column the "Cutting Edge" is published weekly in the Irish

Giotis is the chairman and organizer of the Aegean Masters Meeting
, a unique event planned every year. Medical specialists

Mr. Giotis is the
inventor of the DHI Technique - the DHI SHF - the DHI No
Touch and the DHI Anagen. The DHI technique has been widely
recognized as the most revolutionary hair implantation technique and
has been succesfully applied to thousands of patients.
Mr.
Giotis holds several patents on its hair implanter and
method by leading an international team in the
Research and Development field of 'hair multiplication' and 'body
hair transplantation'. These two new DHI procedures along

Accolades from Mr. K.P. Giotis and

In 2005, the DHI technique
was presented to the Greek Ministry of Health. During the
meeting with the Government's representatives, Mr. Giotis featured
the secrets of the DHI method and explained in detail all the
aspects of the DHI hair implantation method.
At the
EUROMEETING International Medical Congress held in Modena,
Italy on June 2nd to June 4th, 2005, Mr. Giotis was invited to
present the results of the much admired DHI technique. The
presentation was received with great enthusiasm by doctors from
around the world.
Another 2005 successful
recognition for DHI International was the invitation to speak
to the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce.
In the fall of 2006, Mr.
K. P. Giotis presented the DHI No Touch Technique to the 25th
Pan-Hellenic Congress of Surgery. The DHI founder explained
how DHI has become the number one solution for combating hair loss
today by demonstrating the pioneering solutions of the future to a
gathering of specialists.
At the Meeting of EMMA 2006
(European Masters of Aesthetics and Anti-Aging) held in Paris,
Mr. K. P. Giotis presented a detailed summary of the
latest development in hair restoration identified as Direct Hair
Follicle Extraction and Placement.
DHI was a participant in
October of 2006 at the 15th EADV Congress held in Rhodes,
Greece. DHI erected a booth providing information about the
Direct Hair Implantation technique to reflect the spirit of the
Congress’ theme of evolving dermatological procedures: “From
Hippocrates to modern dermatology.”
In the spring of 2006,
Mr. K. P. Giotis, DHI Chairman & Founder, presented
two lectures on the Direct Hair Implantation technique at the 23rd
International Congress of French Society of Aesthetic Surgery in
Paris. Participants at the forum responded with great
enthusiasm in learning the DHI technique and becoming DHI
associates. DHI would like to extend its gratitude to the
forum’s organizer and highly acclaimed French plastic surgeon, Dr.
Fournier, for his outstanding contributions in the field of cosmetic
