For our most advanced hair restoration procedure, our doctors use a combination of DHI extraction and a stereoscopic microscope. Removal of the follicular units in this way avoids excessive manipulation of the unit, important because the over-handling of follicles can interfere with the growth of individual hairs. Due to its care and precision, the D.H.I. technique is excellent for the reconstruction of eyebrows and beards.

Secondly, for all direct hair transplants, DHI exclusively utilizes the patented DHI Implanter, which offers the surgeon increased versatility in placement of the extracted follicles. Control of follicle direction from 35° to 55° angles helps newly placed hair follow the natural direction of hair in the recipient area. By avoiding the use of a large instrument like a scalpel, the DHI Implanter gives an optimum density of placement, as close as 0.6mm apart, and yields no scarring due greatly reduced damage to tissue.
