DHI is pioneer in the new scientific developments

DHI’s new research project is in process, with the collaboration of the Charokopeio University of Athens. The genetic treatment constitutes the hope and the ‘future’ in the medical science, for the cure of a number of diseases.
The “defective” genes usually produce a pathological protein. The scientific background of androgenetic alopecia includes the expression of a pathological protein-receiver called diydrotestosteron, the hormone that destroys hair follicles in the scalp, The finding of the genes that code this receiver, is the new research that has been initiated in the Department of Biology and Genetics of Charokopeion University and is financed by the DHI Medical Group.
The Scientific Person in charge of the research, is the Assistant Professor Mr. George Dedoussis.
